The Cypress tree trunk, prepared for my project, unexpectedly broke under the powerful force of the sanding press. The resulting fracture, unlike the straight lines of saw-cut surface and the natural cracks formed over time, presented a surface texture reminiscent of an earthquake. Originally intended for a meticulously crafted wooden clock, the broken pieces inspired the creation of an unique lighting fixture.
